Acknowledgement
Thank you Rev Jeswin John achen for celebrating today’s communion service and for the inspiring message. Thank you, lay leaders, choir, and media committee for assisting with today’s service. The Holy Communion Service in English will be celebrated next Sunday at 8:30am at Evanswood church by Rev. Jeswin John achen.
Sunday school classes will be held in the fellowship hall after the service.
Malayalam Choir will have carol practice today after the service.
English Choir will have carol practice on Saturday 10am at Evanswood church.
Yuvajana Sakhyam
The Yuvajana Sakhyam General Body meeting is scheduled for today Sunday December 8th immediately following the service in the fellowship hall. The meeting will be presided by Vicar/President Rev Jeswin Simon John.

Any other matter with the permission of the chair.
Sunday School
The remaining Sunday School Christmas carol program practices will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 6:30 PM; Saturday December 14, 10am; and Wednesday, December 18, 6:30 PM at Evanswood Church. All these practices are mandatory for the carol service participation. The support of all the parents and teachers are requested for these practices.
Bible Study
A Bible Study will be organized on Wednesday December 11th, 7pm at Evanswood church. Mr. Thomas Kovoor will lead the study.
Carol Rounding
Carol Rounding will continue on Saturday December 14th in Novi/Livonia/Westland/Ann Arbor/Grand Rapids area on December 14th. and December 15th is the reserve day. If you are unable to host the carol rounders these days, please contact the convenors, Mr Roy Mathews or I. There will not be carol rounding today.
Carol Service
The carol service of St Johns Mar Thoma Church will be held on Saturday December 21st, 5pm at Evanwood Church. Rev Fr Shawn Thomas, Asst vicar, St Thomas Orthodox Church of India Detroit will be the chief guest.
Financial Update
As the end of the year is approaching, trustees are requesting the cooperation of all our members to submit their pending contributions, if any, for the year by December 31st.
DMTC Invitation
His.Grace the Most Rev. Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan will be celebrating the Holy Communion service in English at the Detroit Mar Thoma Church today Sunday December 8th, 9:30am. A felicitation meeting honoring the 35th year anniversary of Metropolitan’s Episcopal consecration is planned after the worship service. All St John’s Mar Thoma Church parish members are invited for the service and the felicitation meeting.
