Acknowledgement

Thank you Rev Jeswin John achen for celebrating today’s communion service and for the inspiring message. Thank you, la y leaders, choir, and media committee for assisting with today’s service. The Holy Communion Service in Malayalam will be celebrated next Sunday at 8:30am at Evanswood church by Rev. Philip Varughese achen. Our Christmas service will be celebrated on Christmas day in English at 9am. Watch  night service will start at 10pm followed by the Holy Communion service in Malayalam. Rev Jeswin John achen will celebrate both the communion services.

Sunday school classes will be held today in the fellowship hall after the service. 

There will be no Bible Study or Youth Group meeting this week. 

There will be an executive committee meeting today immediately after the service in the Fellowship hall. All executive committee members are requested to attend. 

Yuvajana Sakhyam

The Midwest Yuvajana Sakhyam Registration deadline is December 22nd. The annual membership fee is $10. Registration is mandatory to participate in all Yuvajana Sakhyam Midwest events. Please contact Mr. Sibin Mathew for any questions. 

Ecumenical Program

Detroit Ecumenical Council’s 30th Christmas program will be held on Sunday December 29th, 5pm at Detroit Mar Thoma Church. Our malayalam choir will be participating in the program. All our parish members are invited. 

Financial Update 

As the end of the year is approaching, trustees are requesting the cooperation of all our members to submit their pending contributions, if any, for the year by December 31st. The pledge forms have been distributed. Please return them by December 31st as well.

Condolences

Mrs. Sosamma Cheriyan, member of Cross Mar Thoma Church, Dallas , aunt of Jesiwn John achen, mother of Bijo Cheriyan, member of Detroit Mar Thoma Church was called to his heavenly abode. Achen will be travelling December 27th and 28th to attend the funeral. St. John’s Mar Thoma Church, expresses our deepest condolence to achen and family as they grieve the loss of their loved one. May our Almighty Lord grant them strength at this time of mourning and comfort them with His peace.
