General Body Notice 

A General Body meeting of the St. John’s Mar Thoma Church, Michigan will be held on Sunday January 5th, 2025, after the Holy Qurbana Service. The meeting will take place at the Evanswood Church Fellowship hall (located at 2601 E. Square Lake Rd, Troy MI 48085).

Acknowledgement 

Thank you Rev. Jeswin John achen for celebrating today’s communion service and for the inspiring message. Thank you, lay leaders, choir, and media committee for assisting with today’s service. The Holy Communion Service in English will be celebrated next Sunday at 8:30am at Evanswood church by Rev Jeswin John achen. Sunday school classes will be held today in the fellowship hall after the service. Watch night service will start at 10pm followed by the Holy Communion service in Malayalam. Rev Jeswin John achen will celebrate the communion service. 

There will be no Bible Study or Youth Group meeting this week

Edavaka Mission 

The Edavaka Mission General Body will be held on Sunday December 29th, 2024, after the Holy Qurbana Service. The meeting will take place at the Evanswood Church Fellowship hall (located at 2601 E. Square Lake Rd, Troy MI 48085). The meeting will be presided over by the Vicar/President, Rev. Jeswin Simon John. 

Agenda items are as follows: 

1. Election of office bearers 2025 

2. Any other matter with the permission of the chair

Fasting Prayer 

A fasting prayer will be organized online via Webex, Friday January 3rd at 10am.

Ecumenical Program

Detroit Ecumenical Council’s 30th Christmas program will be held on Sunday December 29th, 5pm at Detroit Mar Thoma Church. Our malayalam choir will be participating in the program. All our parish members are invited. 

Financial Update 

As the end of the year is approaching, trustees are requesting the cooperation of all our members to submit their pending contributions, if any, for the year by December 31st. The pledge forms have been distributed. Please return them by December 31st as well.
