Acknowledgement
Thank you Rev Jeswin John achen for celebrating today’s communion service and for the inspiring message. Thank you, lay leaders, choir, and media committee for assisting with today’s service. Sunday school will begin at 1030am. This is the last week for the Sunday school class for this academic year.
Worship Service
Holy Communion Service in Malayalam will be held next Sunday at 8:30 a.m. The Bible Study and Youth Group meeting will be canceled for this week due to VBS.
Sevika Sanghom
A Sevika Sanghom meeting will be held at church today Sunday June 16th after the service. Requesting prayerful participation of all Sevika Sanghom members.
Sunday School
The VBS will be held on the following days: Wednesday June 19th, 5:30 PM to 8:30 pm, Thursday (20th) & Friday (21) 6 PM to 8:30 PM, Saturday June 22nd, 10 am to 1 pm. If you have any questions, please contact VBS convenor Mrs. Smitha John, or for questions regarding registrations contact Sunday School Secretary Shine Eapen. Please continue to uphold VBS in your prayers.
Sunday School Memory Verse Recital details will be sent to all parents and will be posted in the fellowship hall. Deadline for the Recital will be Sunday June 30, 2024. All children from preschool to grade 9 are requested to participate. For more information, please contact Mrs. Siby Binu.
The Junior Camp 2024 will be held at Chicago Mar Thoma Church Friday July 19th to Sunday 21st and is open to students who have completed 3rd to 10th grade. Registration fee is $40/child. Registration deadline is June 30, 2024. Please encourage the students to attend.
Picnic
The church picnic will be held at Thelma Spencer Park, 3701 John R Road, Rochester Hills on July 13th from 10am. Please contact conveners, Mr P J Abraham or Mrs Jyothi Varghese for any questions.
Retreat
The church retreat for this year will be held at Echo Grove camp, Lronard. MI from Aug 11 to 14th. Please contact the convener, Mr Kurian Jacob for any questions.
Cultural Fest
St. John's Mar Thoma Church Cultural Fest is planned for Saturday August 24, 2024. Please sign up using the form for participants of all ages including adults. If you have any questions, please contact conveners Sibin Mathew or Shine Eapen.
Refreshments
Today’s refreshment is sponsored by Mr. Raju Eapen and Mrs. Elizabeth Raju. The family has been participating in our services since the beginning of our church. St Johns Mar Thoma Church expresses our gratitude for their continued support and conveys our special appreciation for sponsoring today’s refreshments. Thank you refreshment committee, for making the arrangements.
