GENERAL BODY NOITCE:

The general body meeting of the St. John’s Mar Thoma Congregation will be held on Sunday February 16^th in the fellowship hall of Evanswood Church after the Holy Communion Service Presided by the President/Vicar Rev. Christopher Phil Daniel.

The agenda is as follows:

Presentation and Approval of Annual Report 2019
Presentation and Approval of the Over-Budgeted and Non-Budgeted items for 2019
Presentation and Approval of the Audited Accounts for 2019
Presentation and Approval of the Budget for 2020
Any other matter with permission of Chair

Prayerful participation is requested from all general body members.

Note: Questions or clarification pertaining to the Annual Report, the Statement of Accounts for 2019 or the 2020 Budget should be sent via email in the attention of the Vicar/President and or the Secretary on or before 6pm on Thursday, February 13^th, 2020. Each member can submit a maximum of 3 questions. Congregation members should be present in the General Body meeting to raise the submitted questions.

DIOCESAN EPISCOPAL VISIT

Our Diocesan Bishop will be visiting our Church on February 29th, 2020 Saturday. There will be Holy Qurbana Service held in English at 9:30 AM(Feb 29th), and first communicants dedication will be held during the service. We will celebrate our first Parish Day will be celebrated during Episcopal visit. We humbly request all members to prayerfully participate.

GLOBAL MAR THOMA MEET 2020

The Diocese of North America and Europe of the Mar Thoma Church will be hosting the Global Mar Thoma Meet and the 33rd Diocesan Family Conference from July 2nd – 5th, 2020 at the Carmel Mar Thoma Center, Atlanta. The theme of the Conference is “Living in Christ, Leaping in Faith” based on John 15:7 - "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."

The registration fee will be $ 100 USD, and the conference fee will be $100 USD, for a combined total of $200 per person, till March 31, 2020.
From April 1, 2020 onwards, an additional $25.00 USD will be added to the registration fees for a combined fees of $225 per person for US residents.
