Acknowledgement

Thank you Rev Jeswin John achen for celebrating today’s communion service and Mrs. Renu Thomas for the inspiring message. Thank you, lay leaders, choir, and media committee for assisting with today’s service. The Holy Communion Service in Malayalam will be celebrated next Sunday at 8:30am at Evanswood church by Rev. Jeswin John achen.

Sunday School will be online today.

The Church newsletter Vol XIII is attached and will be published on the church website. Please contact the convener, Stanley Chacko if you need a printed copy. 


 

Sunday School

A Sunday School General Body will be held on Sunday October 6, 2024, immediately after the service in Evanswood Church. The meeting will be presided over by Vicar/President Rev. Jeswin John. The meeting agenda has been sent to all the teachers. All teachers are requested to attend. October 6th Sunday School classes will be held online due to the general body. 

 

Edavaka Mission 

St Johns Mar Thoma Church Edavaka Mission will host the monthly Diocesan Edavaka Mission online  prayer meeting Monday October 7th at 830pm. We request the prayerful participation of our church families.

Bible Study

A Bible Study will be organized on Thursday October 10th 7pm via Webex. Rev Jeswin John will lead the study. 

 

Fasting Prayer

A Fasting Prayer will be organized on Friday October 11th 10am via Webex. 

 

Youth Group 

A Youth Group meeting will be organized on Friday October 11th 7pm via Webex. 

 

Choir

There will be an English Choir Practice on Saturday, October 12th at 5:30pm for the carol service. All English choir members are requested to attend. 

 

Sunday School

Sunday School will organize a Bake Sale as a fundraising event on Sunday Oct 13, 2024, immediately after the service in the fellowship hall. Sunday School invites all our members to attend the bake sale for delicious food. Your contributions will help support Sunday School operations. For any questions please, contact convener Mrs. Gracy Rajumon. Please keep this event in your prayers. 

 

Message from Trustees

As we enter the last quarter of the year 2024, we are grateful to all the families for their contributions in a timely manner. Those who are yet to pay their voluntary contribution, Parish day collection, Diocesan Sunday collection, Refreshment fund contribution and First Fruit Auction payments, please submit your contributions and support our financial needs. Payments can be made in person to the trustees or through Zelle using treas@stjmtc.org. If you have any questions, please contact our trustees: Mr. Philip Mathew, or Mr. Kurian Jacob
