General Body Notice:
A General Body meeting of the members of St. John’s Mar Thoma Congregation (Troy, Michigan)
God-willingly, be held on Sunday, July 7th, 2019, immediately after the Holy Communion Service.
The meeting will take place at the Evanswood Church of God, located at 2601 E. Square Lake Road,
Troy, MI 48085. The Vicar will preside over the meeting.
The Agenda for the meeting is as follows:
1. Request to Diocese regarding parish status and request for a Vicar 2 weeks per month.
2. Present fundraising event update
3. Any other matter with permission of Chair

Diocesan Youth Fellowship Conference
Diocesan Youth Fellowship Conference will be hosted by and held at The Mar Thoma Church of Dallas, Farmers Branch, located at 11550 Luna Road, Dallas, TX 75234, from Thursday, July 25th to Sunday, July 28th, 2019. The theme for the conference will be: “Bloom Where You Are Planted” based on 1st Corinthians 3:6–9. The Main Speaker will be Rev. Charles Han (Renewal Presbyterian Church - Philadelphia).
Youth Fellowship members between the ages of 18 and 35 are encouraged to register and attend. Early Registration for the conference will be open until June 9th, 2019 (registration fee will be $165.00 USD). Late registration will be available from May 27th until June 30th, 2019 (late registration fee will be $190.00 USD).

1st Annual Diocesan Basketball Tournament
Date: Saturday, August 17 - Sunday, August 18, 2019
Venue: Carmel Mar Thoma Center (Atlanta, GA)
The Tournament will be open to Men's and Women's Teams from the parishes and congregations of the Diocese.

Condolences
Rev. T.C John (age 74), uncle of Mr. Chacko Varghese passed away on Monday June 26th. He was a retired Achen of Marthoma Sabha. Funeral Service will be held on July 2nd at Immanuel Marthoma Church, Pennukkara.
Our Condolence to the family, May God strengthen and comfort all through this hard time.
